Burritopedia
09:38 PMA friend sent me an email with the news that wacky musician, Futurama guest star, and under-the-radar Sc***tologist Beck was recently spotted strumming at a taqueria in the Mission, but more interesting was the referenced link: Burritoeater, a shockingly comprehensive guide to San Francisco taquerias.
You can find them by alphabet, rating, or neighborhood. There are descriptions, pictures, reviews (on a 10-mustache scale), and the most recent health ratings. And of course the monthly newsletter, the Intestinal Apocalypse Monthly.
I can't say I'm down with the Burritoeater's opinions, though; he gives my favorite neighborhood source, Azteca, a mere 6 mustaches, and my former neighborhood source, my beloved Chino's, an insulting 5. Maybe it's a spice thang. Still, as far as the site's reviews go, looks like I'll have to apply the Mick LaSalle*/Ebert & (Especially) Roeper Inversion Principle: if the review is bad, the real thing is probably good, and vice versa.
Also, despite a nice simple all-CSS design, the website loses a mustache in my eyes** for not marking its links as links in any way; you've just got to guess, or roll your mouse around randomly, to find out which things are links and which are just words. Maybe they show up if you spill salsa on them.

^^^ That guy in the link in the comment above ordered a burrito with no meat and complained that neither the beans, the rice, nor the hot sauce had any flavor.
Uh, call me crazy, but if you're eating a veggie burrito and you complain there's a lack of flavor, I'd suggest you stop eating veggie burritos.
Those crazy Mexicans! They're known internationally for their tasty veggie dishes!

Those crazy vegetarians! Expecting flavor from non-meat food products!

Hey, when the menu typically has phrases that end with "con carne," I'd suggest that the vegetarian is eating at the wrong restaurant.

A veggie burrito with fresh, flavorful ingredients is pretty common in San Francisco. There's no reason to "stop eating veggie burritos" -- just go somewhere better than Chino's.

Do the moustaches represent how many you will spot while dining there, or the likelihood that the food will make you grow one?
Speaking of Beck, he also joined the White Stripes on stage at the Greek Theater in LA. Beck's girlfriend, Marisa Ribisi, and her better-known brother, Giovanni, were also in attendance. I may not be one for aliens, but the scientologists match-making skills are impressive.
