10:51 AMExhibit 1, from the news pages of the SciFi Channel website – note what's listed in the middle of this list of top-selling "sci-fi" DVDs:

Now I didn't see the movie, so maybe there's good cause to insert The Passion of the Christ in there. Did Mel have the Romans beat Jesus with lasers? Or has the director Lucasized the DVD so that when Jesus expires, blast rings shoot out from him?
Exhibit 2, from the home page of Delphi Forums, where the bulletin boards have been down for four days:

"What's Hot." I see. The boards are down an unforgivably long time not because the staff wasn't prepared, but because outages are trendy.

So THAT's what happened to the forums. I've been wondering this whole time. It doesn't help matters that I haven't seen Sam or Jennie on AIM for the past two days, either. I thought maybe something cataclysmic went down.
Also, what, no joke about Alladin's Sci-Fi-ness? I guess it meets *some* Sci-Fi requirements. It's Arabian Lamp Fiction.

I'm cutting SciFi a little slack here (in spite of the fact that, once again, it's not promoting "Farscape"). In TV/pop-culture terms, SF tends to mean sci-fi and fantasy, so that might let "Aladdin" on board. But even a non-Christian such as I wouldn't go so far as to label the story of Jesus (or, for Christopher Moore fans, Joshua) "fantasy." Not in mixed company, anyway.
