We went into the heart of the Castro for lunch today to enjoy the inevitable bare-armed and bare-chested delights, as the Bay's biennial March summer cruised into Week 2. Just as inevitable was people trying to hand you fliers at every corner.

One card breached my defenses. It was an ad for a store, though it took me a while to figure out what kind of store. The card's headline was Enchanting! Delightful! Extraordinary! Then came a long list of vague wares:
