If the Name Doesn't Say It All, The Drawing Does
12:01 AMThe thing that pulls me to the Giant Swedish Furniture Warehouse time and time again is shelfing. One shelf style in particular: the Lack, a thick pasteboard shelf, in a variety of colors and/or veneers, that has no visible means of support. It's mounted on a bracket inserted within the shelf. This spartan approach is starkly illustrated by the cover of the installation booklet:

Is it a shelf or a geometry diagram? Some VP at the Giant Swedish Furniture Warehouse must have been concerned about such possible confusion, because on the outside of the box a little something was added:

See? It must be a shelf. You can set an old pot on it.
