If the Name Doesn't Say It All, The Drawing Does

The thing that pulls me to the Giant Swedish Furniture Warehouse time and time again is shelfing. One shelf style in particular: the Lack, a thick pasteboard shelf, in a variety of colors and/or veneers, that has no visible means of support. It's mounted on a bracket inserted within the shelf. This spartan approach is starkly illustrated by the cover of the installation booklet:

Is it a shelf or a geometry diagram? Some VP at the Giant Swedish Furniture Warehouse must have been concerned about such possible confusion, because on the outside of the box a little something was added:

See? It must be a shelf. You can set an old pot on it.
